A variety of tests are offered according to the child’s age – from objective examinations for toddlers to behavioral and subjective tests for older children. Newborn hearing screening
0 to 6 months
Non-invasive test recommended for all newborns.
Pediatric hearing evaluation
6 months to 5 years
Hearing evaluation adapted to the child’s stage of development, performed by two audiologists.
Hearing evaluation
5 years and older
Evaluate the functioning of the various ear structures.
Auditory processing disorder evaluation
Evaluation offered for children and adults to assess the presence of an auditory processing disorder. (7 years and older)
Ear wax removal
The ears are cleaned using a curette and/or irrigation (water).
